SUMMARY:MBEL English | Oct 2026 | Asian Timezone
DESCRIPTION:What is MBEL?\nMindfulness-Based Ethical Living (MBEL) explores how mindfulness can extend into the way we perceive situations, make decisions, relate to others, and act in everyday life.\nMBEL is a guided online course for people with previous mindfulness experience who would like to take their practice beyond formal meditation and bring greater awareness, care, and responsibility into everyday situations.\nAt the heart of the course is a simple observation: our reactions and decisions are shaped by habitual patterns, often more than we realize.\nThrough mindfulness, reflection, and practice in everyday life, MBEL helps you notice these patterns, understand how they operate, and gradually open up different ways of responding. The course calls this the Ethical Habit Loop.\nOver the course, you will explore how to:\n\nnotice when something matters\nwiden awareness to the situation and its context\nrecognize reactive patterns as they begin to unfold\nclarify what matters and what you want your response to serve\nrespond with greater care and responsibility\nlearn from the consequences of your actions\n\nIn this way, mindfulness becomes not only a practice of awareness, but a way of seeing more clearly and responding more responsibly in everyday life.\nWho is this course for?\nMBEL is designed for people who:\n\nwould like to extend their mindfulness practice into everyday life\nhave already completed a mindfulness course such as MBSR, MBCT, or a comparable programme\nwould like to recognize habitual reactions earlier and respond less automatically\nwant to connect mindfulness with ethical responsibility, relationships, and everyday action\n\nWhat MBEL is not\nMBEL is not an introductory meditation course.\nThe foundations of mindfulness practice are assumed rather than taught from the beginning. Guided practices are part of every session, but the main focus is on bringing mindfulness into situations, relationships, decisions, and actions in everyday life.\nCourse format\nGuided · Online · Nine live sessions\nThe course consists of one introductory session followed by eight course sessions.\nEach live online session lasts 2 hours.\nBetween sessions, you will continue the practice through:\n\nguided audio practices\nbrief everyday-life practices\nreflection exercises and worksheets\nwritten course materials\n\nThe emphasis is not on adding large amounts of practice time to your day. Much of the learning happens in ordinary situations as they occur.\nCourse fee\nRegular fee: €240\nReduced fee: €120\nThe reduced fee is available for people on a low income.\nWe want MBEL to be accessible. You are welcome to choose the reduced fee without providing proof or an explanation.\nAccess to the course materials\nCourse materials are released week by week, in step with the live sessions.\nThey are not made available all at once before the course begins. This allows the course to unfold as intended: practice first, experience in everyday life, and then the next step.\nYou will retain access to the materials released during the programme.\n\n\n\n
